Underpainting

Underpainting is a makeup technique where you apply your glamour makeup such as contour, highlight, blush, and concealer first, underneath your foundation. The trend has gone viral on TikTok, and for good reason! This method typically uses less product and results in a very natural, seemless look.

Final Thoughts...

Of the spring trends, I like the lavender collection best. I'm not a big fan of reds or coral on my cheeks and the bright shimmery eye colors are a little bit too young for me. I do like the cream bronzing (contouring) and highlight sticks that I am seeing in several makeup lines and I will continue to try the "underpainting" technique until I get it right!

Which trend are you most excited about? I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!
